Final Presentation #week 12
Here is my final packaging which consists of seven different flavors with different personality traits for each character.

Final Development #Week 11
In this week I did development on the cover page and decided to make the book title “Happiness” and i did some test print to test typography font is readable or not.
This is the previous title, which is “Happiness in You” and the back cover tryouts
Further Development #Week 10
In this week i try to adjust the scenes that i had on my story board as i didn’t include the criteria for the competition. Because 32 pages must include half title, fly sheets and credits page) so i need to cut some scenes and make the adjustment.
These are the character development from when was fine until she had the eating disorder.
Semester Break #Week 9
In this semester break i try to finish most part of the scenes. I did try different layout and also visual angle in the pages. Some are continuous spread, some are scenes without background, or just a simple background.
I also use Yellow-Orange color to show “the happiness” in the symbol of an ice cream as the main character favorite thing.
some scenes will show the fallen ice cream to show “the sadness” as “the happiness” is falling.
Background Development #Week 8
In this week it try to add on more texture and maintain the color theme for the pages. As the story involved with ‘scary’ theme, i used mostly combination of Black and White color to show the scary part, which also to feature the main character more (the colorful one). Like the example below

Packaging development #Week 10
I did some packaging mock up, and i find out that Cadbury from Malaysia has different purple color from other country distributed Cadbury chocolate.
So i did several purple to find which one match the Cadbury produced in Malaysia.
I also did further development for my character design
Further Development #Week 9
This week is Semester Break.
I did site visit to analyze Cadbury chocolate block product.
I find that most Cadbury product is using plastic of its cover compare to other brand. So i decided to proceed by using using some more eco-friendly material such as cardboard.
I did some packaging mock up and also find another ideas for the packaging which is by using origami as to promote the product as well. First i try to make it from the cacao pattern and for the color is based on the chocolate character’s outfit. As i was inspired from the packaging.
I tried to make a simple origami that’s related to the product as well (a rose shape) because Cadbury has Cadbury Roses product, but it didn’t turn out to be good.
